Smoke is an exciting young working cow horse prospect. He is not only that rare and beautiful grulla color, but is also tested to be *Double Homozygous* as well as negative for Lethal White Overo (LWO). This means he should produce no sorrels/chestnuts, no solid/breeding stocks, and no lethal white foals, regardless of the mare's color. At least 50% of his babies should also inherit his dun gene (duns/grullas), and there is a good possibility that he may actually be *Triple Homozygous* - unfortunately there is not yet a test available for the dun gene, so we will have to wait and see what his offspring tell us. So far he is 2 for 2, dun factored foals by non-dun mares.

Smoke is willing, smart, gentle, and very sweet. We are hopeful that he will prove to be more than just a great color producer, but also a great cow horse, as his bloodlines indicate he should. His grandsire, Pepsi Poco, sired World Champion Reiner Q T Poco Streke among other great performers. Pepsi is a grandson of Q Ton Eagle (5 x APHA National Champion, APHA Supreme Champion Sire) as well as Leo San Man (3 x Reserve National Champion). Also on Smoke's 4-generation pedigree are Mr Poco Torino (sire of Torino Tango Barrel Racing LTE >$63K, and son of Top Ten World Show/AQHA Champion Cassius Torino), Skillet (APHA Champion/Superior Reining), Sonny Bonanza (APHA Champion son of Sonny Dee Bar out of a Coy's Bonanza granddaughter), Country Luck (Western Pleasure ROM son of Country Squire, APHA National Champion Cutting Horse), and 3J Chick Oil (Halter/Race Point Earning son of Bold Chick, APHA Supreme Champion/National Champion). He goes back to many great foundation paint and quarter horses as well.
